Our government just can’t help itself. Locking up kids at lunchtime now.
I am coming round to the view that the only long term approach that will work here is to massively reduce benefits and handouts. If people can’t rely on the state to hold their hand through life then maybe they’ll start taking some personal responsibility for their actions. And just maybe they’ll teach their kids the same.
Adding more targets, bureaucracy and lock-ins is not the way.
